Project Manager
We are excited to partner with a prominent mechanical & hydraulic construction company with a national footprint specialising in design & build & construction projects for government, health, industrial & commercial contracts.
As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the successful execution of managing plumbing requirements for multiple projects. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the projects including planning, coordination, implementation and completion while ensuring they meet time, budget and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for managing subcontractors, labour & site managers.
Organise and manage resources to meet production and installation schedules.
Analyse contract documentation and specifications to establish construction schedules according to client requirements.
Control project finances and budgets, including interim progress payment claims and receipts.
Manage cost variations and approvals.
Collaborate with engineering, drafting, accounts, estimating and manage client expectations accordingly.
Ensure adherence to safe work practices and quality assurance.
About you:
Relevant plumbing trade qualification.
Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in commercial plumbing/construction.
In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes and standards.
Project management experience including planning, organising, resource management, budgeting, scheduling etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
