About The Role
We are seeking qualified and experienced assembly fitters to join our skilled workshop team at Aline in Carole Park. You'll be a key player in the assembly of fire pump systems to meet rigorous quality and technical certifications. Your craftsmanship will ensure that every component and material is expertly assembled, resulting in superior products that consistently exceed our standards and customer expectations.
Your role will involve, but is not limited to:
- Preparing parts and materials for construction of manufacturing assemblies.
- Carry out quality control checks to ensure finished products complies with technical specifications and applicable standards.
- Accurately document technical and quality data for built systems.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hazard-free workshop.
- Collaborate and report safety, quality and production issues.
- Maintain and report inventory levels within Kanban system.
- Mechanical construction of motor and pump sets.
- Manufacturing products to technical specifications and quality standards.
- Securing and maintaing plant equipment and tools.
About You
- Mechanical & Assembly experience (engineering trade highly regarded).
- Hydraulic or Electrical knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- High quality of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- A genuine commitment to workplace safety.
- Good communication skills.
