Location: Gold Coast, QLD 4211


Renumeration: $230K - $250K plus, + super

The Opportunity:


This pivotal role will involve leading the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and components for our advanced mineral processing solutions. You will drive innovation, manage complex projects, and play a key role in shaping the future of our engineering capabilities. 60-70% of your role client support and billable across all projects. The remainder of your time will focus on mentoring your team.


Provide guidance and concept on all aspects of wet handling in mineral processing so would suit someone from coal or sand.  Be a great blend of being independent and provide a team player environment. Provide Technical Governance for clients and team. A broad reaching role able to travel and commission projects on site.


What you need


  • Education: Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering discipline.

  • Experience: At least 15 years of mechanical engineering experience, with 5 years’ experience in an engineering design team/company within the mining (or similar) industry.

  • Skills: Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., CAD, FEA), strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent leadership skills.

  • Certifications: Registered Practicing Engineer Queensland (RPEQ).
