ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated Plumbing/Solar Hot Water System Apprentice to join their team. This is an entry-level position for someone who wants to become a qualified plumber via on-site and TAFE training, while being paid as an apprentice! The successful candidate will be trained and mentored by experienced plumbers and solar technicians via a variety of tasks.
Duties may include:
- Provide support and assistance to one or more skilled plumbers/solar technicians.
- Assist in site preparation, clearance, and maintaining general site tidiness.
- Assist with installations, inspections, diagnosing problems/faults/leaks, testing, repair, and maintenance of pipes, fixtures, and solar hot water systems.
- Assist with storage, lifting, fetching supplies, unloading and checking deliveries.
- Liaise with site technicians and other site workers and perform jobs as required.
Key requirements:
- 18+ years of age
- Driver's license and vehicle
- Ability to work well in a team
- Good communication skills
- Must have rights working in Australia
- Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour
- A keen eye for detail
