The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a suitably experienced Contract Manager to service a range of contracts in Melbourne's South East area (office based in Keysborough and Northcote), who can come on board and hit the ground running and get up to speed with a number of projects that are under way. We pride ourselves on providing a professional trade team; our goal is to exceed customer expectations consistently.

As a Contracts Manager at NPS your primary role will involve effectively managing ongoing maintenance contracts, maintain client satisfaction, ensure contract compliance, provide technical expertise, optimise operations, and enhance team performance while prioritising safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage and administer maintenance contracts with clients. - contracts include Shire and Councils, also a Training Institute based in Melbourne's South East.
• Ensure that the team's goals align with the overall company objectives and strategy.
• Provide support for customer and supplier inquiries.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements, codes, licenses, and regulations.
• Provide group leadership and technical support for members of the maintenance team.
• Provide input to estimates, liaise with estimators and planners.
• Advocate for positive leadership behaviours and values and promote a culture of teamwork and superior customer service.

ABOUT YOU

With several projects under way, we need a reliable and committed Contract Manager to join us, do you possess:

• A recognised Plumbing qualification strongly preferred.
• Plumbing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience as a Contract Manager is highly regarded.
• Experience in managing people and escalating issues.
• Committed to excellent customer service.
• Ability to make sound decisions, especially during high work activity.
• Proficient in using computer-based systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
