About the Role

We are looking for suitably experienced plumbers who can come on board and hit the ground running and get up to speed with a number of projects for our Yarra Valley Water contract that are under way particularly across Central Melbourne.

We pride ourselves on providing a professional trade team; our goal is to exceed customer expectations consistently.

This is why we are looking for plumbers who have great attention to detail and take pride in the work they perform and the role they play within our business.

About the Role

Water Meter replacement & assembly maintenance – including Remote, Mechanical & Digital meters up to 150mm.

Working with copper tube, BPress, welding, liquid nitrogen and other types of water assembly components.

Inspect sites while discovering and locating problems and finding solutions as required.

Develop scope of works for complex solutions

Perform tasks within budgets and time frames

Customer Service – face to face and phone

Maintain accurate and timely digital job installation records

Performs incidental work of a trades or non-trades nature

Ensure that all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with state and company OH&S policies and procedures.

Like any work, there are some tasks that can become repetitive but necessary

About You 

With several projects under way, we need reliable and committed Plumbers to join us, do you possess:

• Previous experience working on water utility contracts (nice to have)
• Working on large diameter copper pipework and meter assemblies (50mm – 150mm)
• Experience replacing water meters (nice to have, training available)
• Experience fixing leaks, working with water under pressure
• Excellent customer service skills hold a current driver’s licence
• Plumbing registration or licence
• Red/ white card
• A great attitude with a willingness to learn
• An aptitude for problem solving
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Perform work under supervision either individually or in a team environment
• Pride in your work
