From humble beginnings NPS has grown to a national organisation with circa 300 staff. At NPS we provide high-quality services for industry, government, and water authorities with significant growth in emerging areas of digital metering and IoT device management.
About The Role
An opportunity exists for a suitably experienced Plumber to service a range of awarded contracts in Melbourne’s Western suburbs. Here at NPS, we pride ourselves on providing a professional trade team with our goal to exceed customer expectations consistently.
Our Plumber will be a team player, someone who has great attention to detail, understands the importance of work they perform and the role they play within our business. NPS has successfully established regular and satisfied customers and to continue our quality service, we are looking for team players, who possess well developed people skills, with the ability to deal with all customers in a professional manner and deliver high quality work, on time.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Service and maintenance plumbing.
• Inspect sites locating problems and replacing/repairing components as necessary.
• Perform incidental work of a trades or non-trades nature to facilitate the completion of the whole task.
• Inspect products and/or materials for conformity with established operational standards.
• Rostered after hours servicing.
About You
With several key projects under way, we need reliable and committed Plumbers to join us, do you possess:
• 2+ years plumbing experience.
• Experience in government a contract works highly regarded.
• Quoting experience highly regarded.
• Hold a current driver's licence - mandatory.
• Plumbing registration or licence - mandatory.
• Construction Induction (white/red) card - mandatory.
• Police check and working with children's check would be advantageous and you must be able to obtain one if you don't already have one.
• A great attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Pride in your work and an aptitude for problem solving.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Perform work under supervision either individually or in a team environment.
