About the role:

Due to camp expansion and the increase in work scope we are looking to expand our team. We are opening expressions of interest for a Plumber/Gas Fitter to join our team on an 8/6 day shift roster. FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie

This position is responsible for undertaking plumbing work and gas fitting for our accommodation village requirements, smooth and efficient functioning of the RO water treatment plant, waste-water treatment plant and supporting our village maintenance team as directed.

Duties include but are not limited to the planning/design/install/maintenance of plumbing systems, pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, installing fire hydrant and hose reel systems, connecting irrigation systems, and other physical/manual labouring tasks including use of hand tools, small plant and equipment.

About you:

Physically fit, you will be a motivated individual with previous plumbing experience within the mining industry, have experience working on MAK Water wastewater treatment and RO plants and enjoy a varied and dynamic role.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Trade qualified plumber
  • WA Contractors plumbing licence and Gas qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Valid C Class Drivers License
  • Satisfactory NPC clearance (Essential)
  • Senior First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
  • Computer skills and ability to operate a two-way radio
  • Competent in reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with other trades
