The Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our maintenance team, delivering high-quality plumbing services in accordance with the Plumbing Act while ensuring the smooth operation of resort facilities. This role is vital in upholding our commitment to exceptional guest experiences by maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and satisfaction across the property.

Duties

• Perform repairs and maintenance across the property in accordance with the Plumbing Act.
• Ensure the continuity of the resort’s water supply and servicing of all plumbing systems.
• Respond promptly to daily maintenance requests from guest rooms and departments.
• Assist in regular maintenance of essential systems including kitchen, laundry, and hot water.
• Provide back-up support for general maintenance tasks as needed across the resort.

Skills & Experience

• Current Plumber Licence (Any State Transferable)
• Proven experience in plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to plan and prioritise tasks effectively, including responding to emergencies.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and guest service skills.
• High standards of personal presentation and adherence to workplace safety protocols.

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Kings Canyon Resort. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
