Labourer: Live Gas Pipeline Dig Ups

Are you a highly motivated and skilled labourer with a passion for pipeline work? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, working on live gas pipeline dig ups across our sites in the Central Highlands in Queensland. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading gas production and exploration company, where safety and teamwork are our top priorities.

What We’re Looking For:

We need someone who is willing to get their hands dirty and is eager to learn. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a desire to be part of a close-knit team.

Essential Requirements:

Truck Licence: A minimum of an HR (Heavy Rigid) licence is required, although an HC (Heavy Combination) licence is preferred. We can offer assistance with upskilling if needed.

Excavation Experience: You must have hands-on experience working around heavy equipment in excavation environments.

General Labour Skills: You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks, including washing equipment, loading vehicles, assisting with site setup, and erecting fencing.

Spotting and Directing: Experience as a spotter, safely directing heavy equipment operators, is essential.

Manual Labour: You must be prepared for physically demanding tasks like shovelling and using a crowbar.

Team Player: You’ll work in a small crew, so the ability to take instructions and work collaboratively is crucial.

Flexibility: You must be willing to travel between different sites as required.

Experience in the following areas would be a significant advantage:

Paint and Blasting: Experience in paint and blasting is a plus, with a willingness to learn new techniques.

Pipeline Coating: Any experience with pipeline coating, specifically wrapping, is highly regarded. We are also happy to provide training.

Machinery Tickets: Experience operating a loader, skid steer/bobcat, or vac unit (NDD) is a huge bonus.

Excavator Ticket: While not essential, an excavator ticket is a definite plus.
