Position Overview

As a Parts Interpreter at Hutcheon and Pearce, you will hold a central position within our Finley Branch, serving as a vital link between our customers and service technicians for all their parts needs. Your role will require you to complete a diverse range of tasks, including sales, receiving, and delivery of parts, as well as attachments and merchandise.

This position is full time, Monday to Friday with some Saturdays and after-hours work required.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Support our in-branch Service Technicians with parts


• Promotion and sales of products and/or services


• Handling of parts sales and enquiries


• Placement of stock orders


• Providing parts advice


• Receipting of in-shipments and assistance with delivery to proper inventory locations


• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of merchandise displays


• Facilitation of inter-branch transfers of stock


• Follow up on back orders and stock shortages


• Administration and ad hoc duties as required

The Ideal Candidate should have:

• Strong customer service skills


• A high level of initiative, organisation and time management skills


• Basic knowledge of data entry and machinery


• Ability to work both independently and in a team


• Ability to follow safe work environment procedures and operations


• Forklift license preferred (we can help you with this!)
