Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated painters to join our rapidly expanding team. The primary focus will be hands-on involvement in daily operations, working closely with supervision and management to ensure the successful completion of contracted projects. This is an excellent opportunity for career growth and is ideal for a self-driven individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting through sanding, blasting, or mechanical methods
  • Apply paint and coatings using spray, brush, and roller techniques
  • Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards
  • Comply with safety protocols at all times
  • Collaborate effectively with team members on projects

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

  • Minimum of 2 years' painting experience, with blasting and spraying experience preferred
  • OHS Construction Induction White Card

Desirable:

  • Confined Space Entry certification
  • Working at Heights certification
  • Expertise in surface preparation, including sanding, blasting, and other mechanical methods
  • Proficient in applying various coatings using spray, brush, and roller techniques
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes
  • Ability to follow project specifications and quality standards
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaborative project work
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving for any painting-related challenges
