The Eptec Group is Australasia’s leading corrosion mitigation and protection company specialising in all aspects of corrosion prevention. Our Total Asset Protection solutions and services include: Corrosion management; Blasting, painting and remediation of concrete and steel structures; Lining and waterproofing; Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) Structural Strengthening; Cathodic Protection (CP); and Pipeline Electrical Hazard Assessments. 


 


Eptec delivers across a diverse range of industry sectors, including naval, defence, marine, transport and infrastructure.  Recent projects of the Eptec Group include the Bennelong Apartments in Sydney, Warragamba Dam Pipeline, Brisbane X-River Rail, Sydney Metro Trains, HMAS Choules, and Old Murray Bridge in SA. 




About the role:




We are seeking skilled Painters / Blasters to join our growing team, based in various locations throughout Australia.



  • Surface and paint preparation.

  • General site maintenance 

  • Manual Handling/Laboring 

  • Usage of equipment's and hand power tools.

  • Working in confined spaces

  • Overtime and some weekend work available

  • Opportunity for training & development




Skills/Experience:





  • Industrial spray painter experience (Highly advantageous)

  • Painting-decorating / Roller/brush experience

  • Strong safety mindset

  • Hold a Nationally Accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)

  • EWP License  (Highly advantageous)

  • Working at Heights Ticket  (Highly advantageous)

  • Confined Space Ticket 

  • Minimum 2-3 years demonstrated experience ideally.

  • Team player and safety-first attitude

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including D&A screen




Compensation – $70,000 - $80,000 full time rate annually (subject to experience); overtime and penalties in accordance with relevant Award/ Eptec’s Enterprise Agreement.
