Operator Maintainer - Mechanical

The role

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated individual to join our team at Dongara as a Mechanical Operator Maintainer. This full-time position forms part of a continuous shift roster with 2 nights, 2 days and 4 days off.

Responsibilities

• Ensure commitment to safety, quality, and the environment.
• Mechanical maintainer duties within a site-based environment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
• Focus on continuous improvement ideas.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.

What you will need to succeed

• Trade qualification as a mechanical fitter, mobile plant fitter or boilermaker/welder
• Experience as a fitter in a heavy industry setting delivering and managing maintenance activities
• Demonstrated experience in managing and mitigating workplace risks
• Experience in fixed plant operations (beneficial but not critical)
