On Road Service Technician - Electrician

All Purpose Pumps has continued to grow over the years which facilitates a dedicated office and manufacturing facilities in Melbourne and Geelong in Victoria.

Summary:

We are seeking qualified electricians to join our On Road Service Technician team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients in various industries. The On Road Service Technician are required to travel to client sites to diagnose and repair equipment, as well as performing repairs, undertaking maintenance, installing and servicing systems and products on a broad range of pumping systems.

Both Electrical and Auto Electrical backgrounds highly sort after. You will receive on the job training and support. Based in Hoppers Crossing or Geelong, permanent full-time role. There is also ample opportunity to ongoing growth by gaining additional qualifications and licenses.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Ensure that all required repairs are completed efficiently and cost effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and equipment inventory.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction with our services.

Qualifications/requirements:

• A Grade Electrical License
• Technical degree or certification in a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Australian Driver’s License
• Willing to complete a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
• Experience working on fire panels and systems (Highly regarded)
