Tasty Fresh Food Co has been providing breakfast, morning tea and lunch to Australians since 1979. Starting with one food van we now have over 170 food vans operating everyday across Victoria, NSW, WA and Qld.

Located at our Tullamarine depot, your mechanical talents and know-how will be invaluable in supporting and keeping our trucks out on the road, visiting our hungry customers around Tullamarine and surrounding areas.

As a Tasty Fresh Food Co. Motor Mechanic you will be involved in the maintenance of our fleet at our Tullamarine depot as well as:

• Earn up to $73-80k plus Super

In this role you will:

• Complete mechanical repair work and upgrades
• Perform vehicle servicing
• Fault diagnosis
• Vehicle testing
• Maintain a clean and orderly workshop at all times
• Document all work in line with organisation records system

To be successful in your application we are looking for:

• Trade experience in an equivalent light vehicle servicing and repair role
• High level attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective time management and ability to prioritise tasks
• Work effectively individually or as part of a team
• Unrestricted and valid driver’s licence
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles
• Willingness to learn and develop skills and knowledge
• Confidence
• A positive attitude and a disposition towards team work
• Great communication skills
• Additional training/specialisation in areas such as transmission/gearbox repair, use of dyno, welding/fabrication, engine assembly, diagnostics etc. is an advantage

This position is a Permanent Full Time role working Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.
