Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and recommend solutions
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper operation and performance
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Communicate with customers about their vehicle's needs and provide recommendations for future service
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a formal automotive training program or apprenticeship
- At least 2 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and customer service skills
