• FIFO Roster: 2:2 Roster + 12-hour days 5:30AM – 5:30PM

Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has the opportunity for a Mechanical Tradesperson to join the facilities management team at Chevron located in Barrow Island, WA. Chevron operates one of the world’s largest LNG projects producing both natural gas for the domestic market and LNG for export internationally. You will provide your expertise conducting thorough inspections, identify and documenting repairs and replacements. General repairs on Buses, Trailers, Trucks, Tractors and Mobile Plant. As well as actively participating in safety meetings and providing continuous improvements to the workshops.

ABOUT YOU 

• Site Proficient: Trade qualified (Cert III in Heavy Diesel or equivalent)
• Technically Proficient: Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
• Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety
• Site Qualifications: Hold full working rights in Australia, Valid Manual Driving Licence & White Card.
