Mechanical TGA Production Technician

Sunnyfield is a large not-for-profit organisation with a Person Centred approach to providing services to people with disability. Part of Sunnyfield is Sunnyfield Packaging Services, which offers commercial packaging and assembly solutions for local businesses across NSW.

Sunnyfields’ state of the art TGA Primary operation is looking for an experienced Mechanical Production Technician to join the team. Your primary purpose will be to effectively and safely set up and maintain specific machinery in a TGA environment, and ensure production operations achieve customer requirements to specification and on time.
This is a full time role, located in Allambie Heights.

About the role:

• Setting, calibration and carrying out machine changeover in line with TGA manufacturing instructions and SOPs
• Complex troubleshooting and carrying out preventative maintenance where production issues arise
• Producing quality products ensuring each job runs with minimal cycle time and waste
• Compliance with the requirements of the HACCP and TGA quality systems
• Salary from $73,500 plus superannuation

About you:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Technical & Trade qualifications with a minimum of 2 years relevant on-job experience
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in managing a varied mix of manufacturing equipment
• Experience in the FMCG or Pharmaceutical sectors
