Mechanical Supervisor

About the Role

We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join us for a 3 to 6 month period, with possible extension, on a site located approximately one hour north of Newman in WA. The role has a 2/1 roster FIFO from Perth, with camp accommodation and meals provided. We are interested in your experience supervising mechanical crews in a fixed plant maintenance environment with your experience including laser alignment, pumps, pipes, shutes, screens, scrubbers, and crushers.  You will have an outcome driven approach with the ability to positively influence and motivate your crew while upholding Downer's Zero Harm culture with a genuine commitment to the health and safety of all employees.

About You  

• A nationally recognised trade qualification
• Current Schedule 26
• Current W@H, CSE, & GTA
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within a fixed plant general maintenance environment ensuring that site activities are completed in accordance with safety, quality, environmental and productivity objectives
• Exceptional communications skills to clearly communicate work plans and required outcomes to the crew; and
• Proven leadership ability with a very strong commitment to zero harm
