 We are currently seeking applications from highly skilled and safety focused Mechanical Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join our team on a full-time basis, supporting the planning & scheduling team at Santos, GLNG, Curtis Island. This position is based in Gladstone and local candidates are encouraged to apply.

 Reporting to the Team Leader – Maintenance Planning and Scheduling for Downstream Operations, the Mechanical Maintenance Planner shall be part of a highly competent planning team responsible for delivery of well executed maintenance activities.

You will provide Operations and Maintenance support in a Maintenance Planning capacity for Plant Operations in Short Range Planning Phase. This will support the successful delivery of campaign and package maintenance.

 

You will be responsible for:

Upholding and ensuring compliance to all Environment, Health & Safety management systems and contribute to a strong EHS culture

Planning, scheduling & optimisation of tasks associated with the Maintenance & Shutdown functions.

Delivery of an executable 2-week maintenance schedule

Supporting the 12-week & 12-month Integrated Activity Plan (Long Range Schedules)

Providing input to the strategic maintenance schedules within a 1 – 5 year window.

Liaising with Maintenance/ Engineering, Operations teams, vendors, contractors, other Planners and support functions such as logistics and materials.

 

Key qualification, skills & experience required:

Trade certification in Mechanical discipline

Skilled in the use of Computerised Management Maintenance Systems

Proficiency in the use of SAP, Microsoft Office suite, and document management systems

Experienced in the use of Microsoft Project and or P6

3+ years planning experience in a similar hydrocarbon facility or related industry workplace
