Mechanical Fitters - Yatala

About the role
CrewSELECT is seeking Mechanical Fitters for a large-scale plant construction project in Yatala. You’ll play a key role in structural, mechanical, and piping installation works, supporting the build from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and install spools, valves, and instrumentation
• Read and interpret construction drawings
• Perform mechanical fitting and alignment tasks
• Unbox, prepare, and position plant components
• Work collaboratively with site teams to meet project targets

Qualifications/Experience required

• Trade Qualified – Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Fitter)
• White/Blue Construction Card
• Strong construction or SMP experience
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Highly regarded (not essential)

• Working at Heights
• Rigging or Dogman ticket
• Telehandler or EWP licence

What’s on offer

• $60/hr + penalties + super
• Daily travel allowance $27.52
• Monday–Friday, 6am–4:30pm
• Long-term project through Dec 2025 (potential extension)
• Major new plant build offering stable site-based work
