- Casual roles at Bayswater Power Station Major outage in Muswellbrook, NSW with potential for other project/shutdown work
- Staggered start dates from early September 2024, approximately duration until early November
- Monday to Saturday roster – days 7am-6pm & nights 7pm-6am
- Pay rate $57.83 p/h - inclusive of base rate, site allowance + 25% casual loading. You will also receive penalties on overtime + project uplift allowance
- DIDO project, LAFHA or Accommodation + meal allowance provided to distant workers
Our Energy and Utilities business has opportunities for casual Mechanical Fitters for upcoming outage work in Muswellbrook, NSW. You will provide your expertise in maintaining fixed plant within a project or shutdown environment ensuring that work is completed safely, effectively, and to the required standard.
ABOUT YOU
- Hold a Trade Certificate III Engineering ‐ Fitter & Turner, Mechanical Fitting trade qualification or equivalent with experience maintaining fixed plant equipment specifically within a heavy industry or power station environment
- Experienced in safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
- Capability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks independently and prioritise effectively
- Ability to work within a team with well-developed communication skills
- Commitment to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
- Hold an industry White Card, Working at Heights and Confined Spaces (3-year validity)
