Due to growth, Downer are seeking applications from Fitter’s and Machinist’s to join our team in the Goldfields workshop – casual and permanent positions available.
About your new role

About you:
- Be a Kalgoorlie Resident or willing to relocate
- Hold an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Experience working with manual machines including Lathes, Milling Machines and Horizontal Borers looked at favourably
- Experience working with CNC Machining, including programming desirable
- Experience with strip and assessment of Fixed Plant Gearboxes, Hydraulic Pumps, and rotating equipment.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hold a current Drivers Licence
- Current Working at Heights & Confined Spaces
- White/Blue Card
- High Risk ticket
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Positive attitude towards safety
- Hold Australian work rights
