About the Company

Boss Energy owns the Honeymoon uranium restart project in South Australia, which has a near-term clear path to production. The Honeymoon project is located in South Australia, is fully licensed for exports of up to 3.3mlb and is run by a strong management team which has leveraged off industry experts.

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled mechanical fitter to be a part of our on-ground maintenance crew. This position directly reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and operates on a FIFO basis from the Adelaide charter terminal direct to our Honeymoon uranium mine site on a 8:6 roster.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee servicing and preventative care for the plant.
  • Regularly inspect plant equipment, report conditions, and take preventive action.
  • Augment and refine the maintenance structure.
  • Address emergency call-outs as and when they arise.

About You

You will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Australian Mechanical Trade Licence
  • Familiarity with maintenance oversight systems.
  • A self-driven approach but with the aptitude to heed directives from superiors.
  • Knowledge of Work, Health and Safety requirements in a mine environment
  • Certificates in EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space, and Telehandler would be advantageous
