Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair tasks on a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical faults in a timely and efficient manner

  • Read, interpret, and work from technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints

  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with company safety policies and operational procedures

  • Collaborate with the production team to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement

  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections

About You

  • Relevant trade qualifications (e.g. Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade / Fitter and Turner) or equivalent mechanical engineering background

  • Proven experience working in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and mechanical schematics with accuracy

  • High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality workmanship

  • Sound understanding of WHS regulations and a proactive approach to workplace safety

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
