This is an exciting opportunity to join GEC on the Santos Cooper Midstream Simplification (CMS) project — one of Australia's most significant energy infrastructure programs currently under delivery. This is a single-project contract expected to run through to late October 2026. For the right people, further opportunities exist within the Global Group's growing project portfolio beyond this contract.
With purpose, respect and a driven mindset, you'll contribute by:
• Install, repair and upgrade above-ground and buried pipelines and production/processing facilities at Moomba
• Carry out general fabrication, maintenance and repairs to onsite equipment in greenfield and brownfield environments
• Perform pneumatic and hydrostatic testing activities as required
• Complete tasks to agreed schedules and specifications with actual hours at or below planned
• Maintain tools and equipment to a high standard throughout the project
• Participate in daily pre-start meetings, task safety analysis and SWMS reviews
Due to the nature of the contract and the client requirements a minimum of 2 years of mechanical fitting experience is required for this role.

• Trade Certificate (Mechanical Trade/Fitter)
• Work Safely at Heights

• Flange Management Level 2
• Franna Operations ticket
• High Risk Work Licence — Dogging
• High Risk Work Licence — Elevated Work Platform
• Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Provide First Aid
• Telehandler Operations ticket
