Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy & Resources Team in Adelaide, with a particular focus on the Resources industry. You’ll be a technically accomplished and client-focused engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment. Bringing prior consulting experience, a strong track record in proposal writing and work-winning, and an interest in supporting the development of emerging engineers in the team.  

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Providing technical expertise in mechanical design, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance across multidisciplinary projects.
  • Collaborating with project managers and engineering leads to support timely and effective project delivery.
  • Contributing to business development through technical input in proposals and client interactions.
  • Leading mechanical engineering tasks within multidisciplinary teams, including design coordination and technical reviews.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.

What would you bring to the team?

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, coupled with 5-7 years of experience in design and project delivery in a consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead mechanical engineering components of projects and coordinate with broader teams.
  • Experience across the broader resources sector, including mining in general, and green or brown infrastructure projects.
  • Strong client-facing skills and a track record of building lasting relationships.
  • Solid understanding of industry standards, procurement processes, and safety in design principles.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to mentoring and knowledge sharing.
