About The Opportunity
As the Leading Hand, you will play a pivotal role in the workshop, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Training and mentoring apprentices, fostering their technical skills and confidence
- Working closely with the Service Advisor to ensure timely and high-quality repairs
- Aiming to achieve workshop KPIs and quality assurance targets consistently
- Optimising job allocation and workflow to maximise productivity
- Maintaining the safety, security, and presentation of all vehicles
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a mechanic
- Leadership skills and or / management experience
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Roadworthy Certification and Experience (Highly regarded)
- Certificate III In Light Vehicle or Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology
