Dreamworld is home to the biggest thrill rides on the planet! We’re offering a unique and diverse opportunity for a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our Engineering team and help keep the fun running smoothly behind the scenes.

What’s the role?

As a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing rides, plant, and equipment across Dreamworld. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and critical to ensuring our guests continue to have safe and unforgettable experiences.

What we’re looking for

To be considered, you must be a qualified Mechanical Fitter with a minimum of five years post-trade experience and a solid background in industrial maintenance. Strong diagnostic and repair skills in the following areas are essential:

  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Pumps and dewatering systems
  • Heavy fixed plant repair
  • Welding and fabrication experience
  • A current manual driver’s licence is required, and while EWP and forklift licences would be a bonus, they’re not essential.
