About the Company

Boss Energy owns the Honeymoon uranium mine in South Australia, which is Australia's newest uranium producer. The Honeymoon project is located in South Australia and is fully licensed for exports of up to 3.3mlb and is run by a strong management team which has leveraged off industry experts.

About the Role

We're in search of a seasoned Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent to lead our team of technicians and oversee the mechanical maintenance operations at our Honeymoon uranium mine.

The role will be FIFO from Adelaide charter terminal direct to the Honeymoon mine site on an 8:6 roster.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of the maintenance planning and management systems.
  • Drive a team safety culture implementing safe, effective, and efficient work practices.
  • Long and short-term planning of equipment and facilities maintenance schedules with support from the Maintenance Supervisors
  • Utilising maintenance programs in developing a strong focus on preventative and predictive maintenance schedules, reducing reactive corrective maintenance practices.
  • Development and management of the maintenance budget, reporting actuals and forecast spending to senior management.

About You

  • Preference will be given to candidates with a mechanical or relevant engineering degree qualification.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in maintenance management systems
  • Experience managing a diversely skilled maintenance team
  • Strong knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements in a mine environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships and high levels of trust with leaders and staff
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders across all employee levels

Eligibility

  • Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Willingness to undergo Pre-Employment Medical and Screening.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Possession of an Australian C Class Driver’s License.
