Job Description

📍Location: Blacktown, Sydney

📅Permanent, Full-Time Role

🕒 Hours of Work: 5:00am – 5:00pm Mon-Thurs, Fridays finish at 12pm

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping machinery running smoothly? As a Maintenance Mechanic at Temperzone, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our equipment and machinery remain in top condition.

Your day-to-day will be varied—one moment, you might be troubleshooting a mechanical fault; the next, handling a water leak. No two days are the same in our skilled maintenance team, so if you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy technical challenges, this is the role for you!

With strong support from experienced professionals, you’ll learn through hands-on work, carrying out preventative maintenance, organising repairs, and contributing to improvements in production facilities—all while enhancing reliability, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role.

We’re after an adaptable team player who enjoys problem-solving and working in a dynamic environment. Someone with strong communication skills who takes initiative and is passionate about maintaining industrial machinery.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety at all times
  • Relevant trade qualifications in mechanical engineering or allied trades
  • 5+ years' experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance
  • Familiarity with CMMS software (Epicor or other) for maintenance tracking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to work independently, innovate, and recommend effective repair solution

Desirable Skills:

  • Forklift licence (3.5-tonne) & reach truck experience (1.6-tonne)
  • EWP licence for working on elevated platforms
  • EST practising licence
