About the role

We are looking for a Full Time Maintenance Fitter to assist with the daily requirements of a fast-paced and ever-expanding egg production farm. Offering company perks and a competitive salary, this role is located at our state-of-the-art grading facility in Euroa.

The role of Maintenance Fitter is pivotal in supporting Pace Farm and will see you working in a highly automated, innovative business. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives when faced with a challenge and takes pride in their ability to meet targets whilst supporting and developing world class processes, systems and people.

The Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Provide preventative and reactive maintenance to achieve optimal operational requirements whilst maintaining safe work practices.
• Monitor, resolve and escalate identified issues involving plant and equipment.
• Work with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Repair and maintain plant and equipment such as chains, belt and roller conveyor transport systems, compressors, evisceration equipment, refrigeration equipment, etc.
• Assist with maintaining and improving processes and systems.
• Assist with Maintenance Departments administration, including stock and part management.
• Display sound fault finding techniques possessing the ability to diagnose down to root cause and implement permanent corrective countermeasures as required.

• Relevant trade qualifications and experience.
• Production line experience is highly advantageous
• Demonstrate attention to detail and exercise sound judgement.
• Be enthusiastic.
• Communicate effectively.
• Prioritise and manage time effectively.
