Zezt Pty Ltd is a Tasmanian business formed in 1997. Today the business continues to operate from a well-equipped manufacturing plant based in Wynyard, Tasmania. The organisation specialises in the manufacture and supply of extruded polyethylene pipe for the mining, agriculture, aquaculture, civil and rural industries.
In 2016 Zezt became part of the Aliaxis Group, a global leader in plastic piping solutions. Other local businesses in the Aliaxis Group include Vinidex and Philmac. Together the group of businesses has significant expertise in the Australian water and gas industry.

About the Role
In this role you will troubleshoot and maintain sophisticated equipment in order to achieve maximum production output. Your responsibilities will include:
Plan and Undertake Preventative & Scheduled Maintenance Activities as defined by Zezt Production Manager
Contribute to Information Feedback as determined by Production Officer Work Orders
Respond to break down situations to repair to all plant equipment as requested by Production & Shift Supervisor
Ensure temporary repairs are reported to Production Manager and plan for permanent repair to be implemented
Update any statutory records as required by law
Implement and maintain a spare parts register for all machinery in the extrusion factor
Liaise with supervisors and machine operators about performance of equipment
Ensure any adjustments to any plant machinery are approved by Production Manager or Shift supervisor, prior to implementation.
Record and rectify any defects found during performance of work.
To accept and abide by the Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Policies and Principles.
This is a Monday to Friday position.
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Tradesman Certificate – 5 years Minimum
Minimum 5 years post trade experience, or other experience deemed relevant by the Production Manager
Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety and Environment Policies and Principles
Tertiary or further related qualifications in manufacturing/industrial fields
Strong manufacturing industry knowledge with extensive experience in a similar role
First Aid certificate, Confined Space Licence, Forklift Licence and EWP Licence
Strong ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment
Flexibility to manage a variety of tasks and projects
Motivated and capable of working autonomously within a dynamic, faced paced work environment
