THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity exists for a reliable, safety conscious, experienced Quarry Maintenance Fitters to become part of the Hallett Group team!

We are seeking a professional Fixed Plant & Mobile Crushing Equipment Maintenance Fitter who is highly motivated with attention to detail, a willingness and ability to fulfil a broad range of operational requirements based at our Truro Quarry but may occasionally be required to work at other quarry sites in the business which may mean occasional short stays away from home.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

• Experience in performing Crushing Plant and process inspections
• Crushing and screening repairs & maintenance
• Fault finding and problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude
• Welding; – Oxy, TIG, MIG, Electric Arc
• Perform basic fault analysis and rectification
• Identifying and reporting hazards
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments on equipment
• Safe operation of power tools

QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES

• Trade Certification in mechanical engineering
• Proven experience in a maintenance/repair type role
• Proven experience maintaining quarry crushing equipment highly regarded
• Strong W H & S focus
• Previous experience in preventative maintenance system
• Drivers Licence
• EWP and confined space ticket highly regarded
