This is an exciting time for a recently qualified Apprentice or expert to join Dematic as a Maintenance Fitter and work with significant projects.  Don’t delay!  You will be working alongside our amazing Belrose factory team, receive on the job training and exposure to robotics and automation projects, metal roll forming and other manufacturing equipment.     

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Thursday: 06:00am – 14:30pm

  • Friday: 06:00am – 12:00pm

  • overtime opportunities when required.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

In addition to servicing manufacturing equipment and identifying process improvement opportunities, you will:

  • Inspect and maintain equipment regularly to ensure optimum production

  • Assist with machine setup processes

  • Complete preventative maintenance and ensure maximum uptime of all machinery

  • Resolve equipment faults and breakdowns in a timely manner

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to optimise production capacity

  • Manage allocated assets including spare parts and tools

  • Report any incidents, including incidents impacting on safety, quality, or the environment

  • Promote and follow health and safety processes throughout the facility

Tasks and Qualifications:

SETTING YOU UP FOR SUCCESS REQUIRES

  • Qualified Maintenance Fitter & Turner

  • Restricted Electrical Licence (desirable)

  • Experience in computerised maintenance systems (MEX desirable)

  • Understanding of OH&S requirements and application of safe work practices

  • Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills

  • Positive attitude, with a hunger to learn new things and a willingness to tackle anything that comes your way
