About the role:

Contribute to the development of asset strategies and projects to support the safe and reliable operation of Eraring Power Station. Be responsible for the coordination and execution of the maintenance plans, work management, plant health, risks, budget, improvements, initiation of future projects, contractor performance (safety, quality, scope, execution and close out of work), spares and technical support of designated plant areas or functions.

  • Contribute to the development of site initiatives such as Process Safety, Asset Integrity and Quality Assurance and Quality Assurance.
  • Coordination and execution of the maintenance strategy plans (routines, overhauls and defects etc.)
  • Support continuous improvement of systems and processes including Asset Management, Plant Modification, Quality and Asset Integrity.
  • Develop, control, monitor and report against budget and financial performance.
  • Preparation of contract technical workscopes and risks;
  • Reviewing and reporting on contract scope, schedules, expenditure and variations

 

What will you bring?

 

  • Minimum 5+ years engineering exposure in heavy industry, with expirence in Turbine and Turbine Auxiliary engineering. Exposure in Power Generation and high pressure multi-stage steam turbines would be advantageous. 
  • Engineering Degree accredited under the Washington Accord. 
  • Chartered Professional Engineer, or commitment to achieve within 12 months. 
  • Contribute to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives. 
  • Demonstrate leadership through professional conduct and high customer service. 
  • Collaborate on Asset Integrity, Process Safety, and Management of Change. 
  • Manage the area or function according to Work Management procedures and optimize inventory holdings. 
  • Lead or participate in plant failure investigations, risk assessments, and RCM/FMECA studies.
