Maintenance Electrician

We're looking for a Maintenance Electrician who is passionate about helping customers win. As a member of our team, you'll have the ownership and support you need to succeed, both from your leaders and your colleagues.
Maintenance Electrician with strong experience in Hazardous areas is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in environments classified as hazardous due to the presence of flammable gases, vapours or dust.

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in hazardous areas according to safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical brekdowns and perform necessary repairs.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the integrity of electrical systems.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in MEX.
- Conducting periodic and Preventative Maintenance activities in accordance with the site. preventative maintenance policies and local regulations and standards.

Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years proven experience as an Industrial Electrician, with specific experience in hazardous areas.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring in industrial settings.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols for hazardous environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- MEX and MS office literacy
Qualifications:
- A-grade Electrical licence with Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas
- Experience working with PLCs and control systems.
- Familiarity with regulations for hazardous area Standards AS-NZS 60079 .
