The Clarke Services Group is a construction company that performs minor works projects and maintenance services in the education, health, retail, and commercial building sectors. With a strategic focus on growth, we are seeking Carpenters with experience in commercial and residential building repairs and refurbishments.
The role will involve working on a variety of construction projects across South East Queensland and will be part of a growing Construction Division.
What you’ll be doing
• Working with other sub-contracted trades
• Ensuring works are progressing and maintaining professional standards of communication with customers.
• Performing a wide range of carpentry duties such as stair repairs, bathroom modifications, wall framing and sheeting, floor replacements, window and door repairs, general
repairs and refurbishments, finishing trim work and assisting with variation quoting.
• Collaborating with the Construction Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment by following all relevant safety protocols
• Working on a range of sites that have inductions and access protocols
What we’re looking for
• Someone who wants to grow by working on a range of different carpentry tasks.
• Someone who believes they can meet the challenges of learning and working on both residential and commercial sites.
• Formal carpentry qualifications, Certificate III in Carpentry
• Experienced and multiskilled as a Carpenter,
• Strong attention to professional communication, details and presentation
• Problem-solving approach
• Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment
• Current White Card (Construction Induction) certification is required before commencing employment
• Australian citizenship is required for this position
