THE OPPORTUNITY

WPC Group is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Light Vehicle Apprentice. This full-time position offers hands-on experience working with Nissan vehicles, alongside qualified technicians, while undertaking formal training through TAFE.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist qualified technicians in diagnosing and servicing Nissan vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
  • Operate diagnostic tools and technology to identify and resolve automotive issues
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and workshop standards

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will:

  • demonstrate a genuine passion for the automotive industry
  • Have a strong commitment to completing an apprenticeship.
  • Be eager to learn, possess excellent communication skills
  • Shows initiative in a fast-paced environment.

 

REQUIRED ATRIBUTES

  • Enthusiasm for a career in automotive
  • Willingness to undertake TAFE studies as part of the apprenticeship
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Desire to grow and develop professionally
  • Previous experience or a Certificate II in Automotive is advantageous but not essential

 

ESSENTIAL CRTITIERA 

  • Hold a current and valid driver's licence
