Light Vehicle Fitter Mechanic

HMR is a national contractor providing underground and surface DRILLING, MINING and RAISEBORING services to clients across Australia.

Role Summary
An exciting opportunity currently exists to join the team as an experienced Light Vehicle Fitter at the HMR Workshop in Kalgoorlie WA. This position is DIDO/FIFO on a 8/6 roster with accommodation and meals provided

Key Details

• Roster 8/6
• $65-$70 per hour   
• Local Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth WA in company time
• Accommodation & messing provided

Key Responsibilities

• Competent to inspect, service, maintain and repair light vehicles
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing vehicle faults
• Quoting and ordering of parts direct from suppliers
• Complete inspection, service and repair documentation
• Maintain good housekeeping standards

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Hold a Light Vehicle Mechanical trade certificate
• 3 + years post trade experience
• Toyota Landcruiser & Hilux work experience
• Post trade experience working in the mining industry
• Commitment to safety
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Ability to meet pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening
• Police clearance (within 6 months)
• First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
