About the role
This permanent position is based on Curtis Island paying $56.19 Per Hour + Super, supporting ongoing maintenance activities across the APLNG facility. You’ll provide scaffolding and rigging support to enable safe access, component replacement, inspections, and other maintenance functions. Work includes erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding systems safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, erect, and dismantle scaffolds and access systems safely
- Work across basic, intermediate, and (if ticketed) advanced scaffolding applications including tube & coupler, cantilever, hoists, ramps, and suspended systems
- Participate in pre‑start meetings and complete required risk assessments
- Maintain clean work areas and comply with all UGL safety procedures
About you
- Based in Gladstone or able to travel locally to Curtis Island
- Minimum Intermediate Scaffolder Ticket (IS)
- Dogman Ticket (DG) – dual‑ticketed applicants strongly preferred
- Rigging qualifications highly regarded
- Construction induction card (White Card)
- Safety‑focused, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
