Pearl Recruitment are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Tyre Fitter for our well-established client who specialises in providing custom trailer solutions to the mining, construction and agricultural industries. This is an opportunity for ongoing project work with an immediate start.

Wheatbelt Region location (3 hrs from Perth)
Day Shift Only 6am – 6pm (11.5 hours paid daily)
$50.71 hr + Superannuation
Accommodation + All Meals Provided
  
What will the role see you responsible for? You will be responsible for leading a small tyre fitting team, consisting of one Tyre Fitter and one Apprentice, while providing hands-on training, day-to-day support and mentorship. Additional duties will include:

  • Coordinating daily workloads and team progress
  • Providing team support, training, feedback and reviews
  • Ensuring team coverage and assisting with recruitment as needed
  • Inspecting, fitting, repairing and replacing tyres
  • Completing tyre changeovers, diagnostics and condition checks
  • Carrying out wheel balancing, rotations, alignments and inflation checks
  • Assisting customers with tyre and product selection
  • Preparing quotes, invoices and sales documentation
  • Managing stock levels, ordering and forecasting
  • Completing job cards and tyre-related paperwork accurately
  • Maintaining safe, clean and organised work areas
  • Safely loading, unloading and moving materials
  • Working with other departments to support smooth operations
  What do you require to be successful for this position?
  • Experience leading a small team within a similar tyre fitting role (ideally heavy-duty transport)
  • Current drivers licence and reliable transport (HR advantageous but not essential)
  • Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology or similar qualification (advantageous)
  • Forklift license (advantageous)
  • Proficiency in reading drawings and hand/power tool competency
  • Ability to pass a medical & drug and alcohol
  • National Police Clearance
