THE ROLE

  • Coordinating daily activities for planned and unplanned maintenance
  • Supervision of tradespersons and mobile maintenance activities
  • Provide feedback to Maintenance Supervisors regarding job details, timeframes and work methods
  • Take appropriate action to eliminate workplace hazards
  • Mentor team members to create a safe and efficient work environment

WHAT DO I NEED

  • Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
  • Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences
  • Previous experience in a Leading Hand role
  • Experience working on Heavy Underground Machinery & Drills
  • 5 years in underground mining as a minimum with safety as a number one priority
  • Be competent in diagnostics & repairs of diesel, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working underground
  • Experience working on, CAT AD63, SANDVIK TH663i trucks, Volvo L120F IT’s, Normet MF605DA Charge up, Normet Charge Up MF 605 D(V), Sandvik DD421-60c, DD422i Jumbo’s, Epiroc E7C long hole drills, Sandvik DS421-C Cable Bolter, R2900XE Loaders with digital RCT guidance including surface operation
  • Experience maintaining air conditioning (desirable)
  • Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable)
  • Experience with CAT Et Sis Systems (desirable)
  • Be able to mentor and train Maintenance personnel
  • Exceptional diagnostic and fault finding skills
  • Proficient Microsoft office skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A can-do, team-oriented attitude
  • Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
