Whitlam Landscapes is a growing commercial landscaping contractor delivering external works packages across Sydney.
We work closely with Tier 1 & 2 builders and developers on large-scale residential and public domain projects. Our focus is simple: clear scope, strong coordination, and reliable delivery.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Landscape Foreperson to join the team and help lead projects onsite.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role managing the day-to-day delivery of commercial landscaping projects.
You will work closely with the Director and Commercial Manager to coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, programme, and quality onsite.
Projects include:
- External works packages
- Podium landscapes
- Public domain works
- Planting
- Turf
- Paving
- Planter boxes
- Play equipment
- Street furniture
- Irrigation
- Civil landscape elements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead onsite landscape crews and subcontractors
- Coordinate daily works in line with programme and methodology
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Manage site setup, deliveries, and material coordination
- Ensure works are completed safely and to specification
- Liaise with site management teams and builders
- Complete site diaries and track progress onsite
- Identify and resolve onsite issues proactively
- Maintain quality control across all landscape scopes
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Landscape Foreperson or Leading Hand
- Commercial landscaping experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand plans and drawings
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage crews and subcontractors effectively
- Reliable, proactive, and solution-focused attitude
- White Card required
- Machine tickets and truck licence advantageous
