About Landscape Solutions
Originally established in 1993 with 3 people in the Northern Beaches, we have grown to a team of over 825 professionals spread across Australia and New Zealand. This year, as we celebrate our 31st year in business, we’re incredibly proud to still be an Australian, privately owned business. We provide our clients with quality commercial landscaping solutions. From Civil Landscape construction, Landscape Maintenance, Building Services, Irrigation, Environmental Services and Sports Turf/Golf Course management. We currently have offices in Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong, Brisbane, Melbourne, Geelong and Auckland.
So, what duties can you expect to do in your apprenticeship?
- Working on iconic high end commercial site/s
- Working in a high learning environment (Hands on)
- High end Horticultural Gardening and Maintenance based work
- Chemical application experience
- Flora identification and upkeep
- Operate and maintain multimillion dollar irrigation systems
- Tafe days for practical and theory components of trade qualification
- Working within a team reporting to a trade qualified person
- Working towards your Certificate III in Parks and Gardens
- Operate Machinery (ride on and handheld)
- utilising different industry tools for specific tasks
- Design and maintain complex maintenance schedules based on seasons
What are we looking for?
- Someone with a genuine interest in getting trade qualified in the landscape industry.
- You will be the face of our business on site with our clients.
- An interest in pursuing a career in the Landscape/Horticulture Industry.
- Someone that wants a career with many great opportunities for advancement within our business.
- Someone open to fulltime work Monday to Friday.
What will you need?
- Driver's licence and own transport. Or ability to Get to site.
- National Police Check or willing to obtain one at our expense
- Working with Children Check, or willing to obtain one.
