Intermediate Scaffolder/Rigger- Barrow Island

Downer are seeking experienced Intermediate with a strong background working in a facilities maintenance environment. Fly in fly out on a 2/2 roster in the Pilbara Region.

About your new role

Following the successful award of a long-term Non-Process Infrastructure Works contract, Downer are chasing an Scaffolder/Rigger is to provide support for other trades in the way of scaffold access and rigging/dogging of materials and equipment within the scope of this contract, in accordance with the standards prescribed in the partnership between Chevron and Downer. This is ongoing permanent 2/2 Roster on an LNG site.

• Roster: 2 weeks on 2 weeks off
• FIFO from Perth
• Erect and dismantle scaffold to support our NPI scope of works.
• Install both tube & clip, and quick stage scaffold systems.
• Maintain scaffold register of all erected DFM scaffold on a fortnightly basis.
• Assisting other trades in setting up chain blocks and cumalongs where required
• Rigging various loads for cranes
• Maintaining & servicing all rigging equipment with quarterly inspections and updating rigging register
• Assisting other trades where required 
• Basic computer skills

About you:

A team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work safely and understand best practice in a maintenance environment and knowledge in the safe use of hand/power tools and equipment required to perform tasks.

To be successful, you will need to provide all necessary documentation/qualifications/tickets relevant to the position below:

• Scaffolding (min Intermediate)
• Rigger (min Intermediate)
• WAH
• EWP
• CSE (Desirable) 
• Forklift (Desirable) 
• Class C, HR Driver’s License (Desirable) 
• MSIC (Desirable)
• Hepatitis A&B vaccinations or a willingness to obtain.
• White Card
