About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our Brisbane service team, working across campus on various equipment types this is truly an opportunity to be exposed to all that the industry has to offer from central plant to refrigeration and everything in between.
Work every day on the world‑class University of Queensland St Lucia campus — a supportive, scenic environment just minutes from the CBD.
You’ll have a consistent, allocated precincts, realistic workloads, and the support of experienced supervisors, coordinators, and fellow technicians. This is a role where doing good work is recognised — not rushed.
Your work will include:
- Preventative maintenance and breakdowns
- Fault‑finding and repair across a range of HVAC assets
- Liaising with coordinators and management for job planning and support
- Providing a high level of customer service on site
- Identifying safety issues and improvement opportunities
- Identifying upgrade or repair opportunities where appropriate
Skills And Experiences
What We’re Looking For
- Trade qualification – Cert III in Air‑conditioning & Refrigeration
- QBCC Mechanical Occupational License
- Current refrigerant handling licence
- White Card and valid driver’s licence
- Hands‑on experience in commercial HVAC service and maintenance
- Ability to work independently, while also being a team player
- Clear communication and a professional approach with clients and colleagues
