The Company

This business is a well-known contractor that offers mechanical services & refrigeration installation and maintenance services throughout Qld and NSW, and the head office is based at  Chermside. They specialise in the commercial space and have become renowned for delivering exemplary design, install, maintenance and breakdown support to customers regardless of size or location.

The Position

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Technician to join the team. The role involves overseeing and supporting apprentices in a leadership role, fault finding, new installation D & C for assigned projects, servicing refrigeration systems, while adhering to the company's safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervisor of apprentices works.

  • Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

  • Diagnose and repair faults in commercial HVAC systems.

  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.

  • Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken



Requirements

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration services and will possess the following: 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the commercial industry.

  • Current and relevant technical certificates and licences.

  • Experience in commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.

  • A valid Australian driver's licence.
