Alphacool is seeking an enthusiastic Qualified HVAC-R Technician, to provide assistance and install, calibrate, troubleshoot and service equipment, systems and hardware
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Alphacool is a locally owned family business with 90 staff across HVAC-R, Electrical, and Plumbing divisions. Our customer base is made up of large Supermarkets, Government, Marine, Industrial, Commercial and Domestic clients.

Responsibilities:
- Completion of general paperwork, Take 5 Compliance Forms, SWMS
- Install, maintenance, testing and servicing a large range of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems in accordance with Best Practice and Australian Standards
- Attend breakdowns, fault find and provide solutions
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repair services
- Review recently serviced equipment and ensure performance is appropriate
- Provide service reports to clients/customers
- Use a logical approach to solve technical problems
- Maintain reports and records
- Work collaboratively with other technicians, technical employees and customers
- Available to be part of an On Call Roster
- Value adds services to the client - generate new works
- Provide service reports to clients/customers

Qualifications:
- Current QLD Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)
- Refrigerant Handling License
- Valid Queensland Restricted Electrical License
- Low Voltage Switchboard Rescue & CPR
- General Safety Induction Card
- Working at Heights
- Relevant QBCC occupational licence
- Elevated Work Platform
- Asbestos Awareness
